Privacy Policy

The short version

Your training data stays on your device. PowerUp has no accounts, no analytics, and no telemetry. We cannot see your workouts, your profile, or anything you log - it never reaches us.

1. Who we are

PowerUp is operated by Northline Works, an independent software studio. For anything privacy-related, contact contact@powerupworkout.com.

2. Data the app stores (on your device only)

When you use the app, it saves your data in your browser's local storage on your device. This includes your profile (the name you enter, and optionally sex, age, height, and weight), your programs, logged sessions, personal bests, goals, XP, and achievements.

This data is not transmitted to us or to anyone else. It exists only in your browser. Deleting your browser's site data for this site deletes it permanently - we could not recover it for you even if you asked, because we never had it.

The profile fields exist so the app can estimate strength ratings against general population standards. Selecting "prefer not to say" for sex simply disables ratings; the app works fine without them.

3. Data the website processes

This site is static and sets no cookies of its own, and we run no analytics on it.

The site and app are served by Cloudflare, our hosting provider. Like effectively all web hosting, Cloudflare processes standard technical request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and may keep short-lived operational logs. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

The site loads its font from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests the font file from Google's servers. See Google's privacy policy.

4. The mailing list (opt-in only)

If you choose to join the mailing list, your email address is collected and stored by Kit, the newsletter service we use, and is used only to send you development updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you. See Kit's privacy policy. We never add anyone to the list without them signing up.

5. Email you send us

If you email contact@powerupworkout.com, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle it. We do not add you to any list or share your address.

6. What we do not do

• No advertising, and no sharing or selling of data to anyone.
• No tracking pixels, no fingerprinting, no cross-site anything.
• No accounts, so no passwords to leak.

7. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and its profile setup assumes an age of 13 or over.

8. Changes to this policy

If the app gains features that change the picture above (for example, optional cloud backup or a premium version), this policy will be updated before those features ship, with the effective date at the top revised.
